The linecard which caused the original switch crash at LINX has now been swapped out with a spare card. The LINX network is still running in manual mode, however their NOC have indicated that if they are happy the new switch linecard is stable they will shortly re-enable automatic circuit protection and turn up the routeservers which have been disabled following the original incident.

Please note that our network is not directly affected by this issue, however hundreds of other UK networks are affected by the LINX issue, causing latency and packetloss. Around 400gbps of data was affected at the peak, as can be seen at the following image. We will update you further once the LINC NOC confirm the status of the peering exchange.
