10th January 2012 @ 23:00 until 06:00 (the following morning)
We’re planning to migrate the default gateway for all customers from the current core devices to our aggregation layer routers. Each subnet will experience a brief 10 second outage as the default gateway is moved.
Due to the unmanaged nature of the service we cannot produce an exhaustive list of possible issues. However the MAC address of the default gateway will change, currently the default gateway is protected by HSRP this will be changing to VRRP. Our routers will gratuitously ARP to update neighbouring systems.
Some systems may have been configured to ignore these. We recommend that for the window above systems are configured to accept them. All Co-Location customers will be affected by this work.
This will affect only customers located within the UK.
